With its separate entrance and veranda overlooking the patio and neighboring gardens, the second floor Essex Suite is reminiscent of the bachelor's apartments in New Orleans French Quarter. This pretty two-room suite is decorated with classic Laura Ashley fabrics in shades of blues and yellows. The Essex Suite sleeps four. Its bedroom features a double bed with canopy. The sitting room has a day bed with trundle.
The sitting room has a working fireplace with original 18th century moldings. Each room has a French door that opens onto the veranda with its outdoor chairs and side table. The suite has a bath tub with integral shower.
